Live in Carer

Join Us Today!

As a live-in carer, you may be involved with:

  • Companionship – sharing conversation and spending time together

  • Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing and, when necessary, continence support

  • Helping with mobility – some service-users need assistance getting around the home

  • Support with medication regime – all according to the client’s medication support care plan

  • Household chores – help around the home, such as vacuuming or washing clothes

  • Preparing and cooking meals

  • Running errands – assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions

  • Other medical support – extra training is provided for more complex support needs as well as first aid training

It takes a special kind of person to be a carer. A good carer is someone who truly cares about others and is not just earning a living. This is a special job, and it needs special people to do it.

Healthcare Assistants/Support Workers

Be a Part of Our Team!

​(Health Care Assistants from different backgrounds (Elderly, Children, Learning difficulties, Physical disabilities, Dementia, Challenging Behaviour, Brain injury, Terminal Illness, Companionship, and others)

As a care assistant with Caero Healthcare, otherwise known as a visiting carer, you’ll drop-in on a number of clients each day, providing help around the home and with each of their individual care needs.

Your responsibilities may involve:


  • Personal care â€“ help with getting in and out bed, washing, bathing, dressing and, when necessary, help going to the toilet.

  • Assisting with  medication â€“ with appropriate training first and all based on the service user's  care plan.

  • Housekeeping Tasks – help with tasks and chores around the home, such as vacuuming or preparing meals.

  • Running errands â€“ many of our service users  require support getting out and about, so you’ll assist with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions.

  • Companionship â€“ provide company for your clients, treating them with dignity, patience and compassion at all times.
